This Privacy Policy explains how Vedaarth Wellness Services Pvt Ltd (“Astro SadhGuru”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use astrosadhguru.com and the Astro SadhGuru mobile app (the “Platform”). It is published in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Name, gender, date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth, which are needed to prepare horoscopes, Kundali, match-making, and PDF reports.
  • Contact details such as email address and phone number, when you create an account, place an order, or contact support.
  • Photos of your face or palm, only when you choose to use AI face or palm reading in the app.
  • Shipping address, for AstroKart product orders.
  • Messages and questions you share during consultations or with support.

Payment information

Payments on the website are handled by Razorpay. Your card number, CVV, UPI PIN, and bank login details are entered on Razorpay’s secure checkout and are never stored on our servers. From Razorpay we receive only the payment ID, order ID, amount, payment status, and payment method type, which we use to confirm and deliver your order.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Platform we may record your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and approximate location, using cookies and similar technologies.

2. How we use your information

  • To prepare and deliver the readings, reports, consultations, and products you request.
  • To process payments, prevent fraud, and issue refunds.
  • To ship physical products and share order and delivery updates.
  • To respond to your questions and provide customer support.
  • To improve the Platform and keep it secure.
  • To send service updates or offers, which you can opt out of at any time.

3. How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the Platform:

  • Payment processor – Razorpay, to process payments and refunds. Razorpay handles your data under its own privacy policy.
  • Astrology calculation partners – birth details are sent to our report-generation provider to calculate charts and create PDF reports.
  • Courier partners – your name, address, and phone number, to deliver AstroKart orders.
  • Hosting and app store providers – to host the Platform and process in-app purchases.
  • Authorities – when required by law, court order, or to protect our users and the Platform.

These partners receive only the information they need and are required to keep it secure.

4. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember preferences such as language, and understand how the Platform is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may then work differently.

5. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Payment and order records are kept for the period required by Indian tax and accounting laws. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

6. Security

We protect your information with HTTPS encryption, restricted access, and secure servers. Payments are processed on Razorpay’s PCI-DSS compliant checkout. While no online system can be guaranteed fully secure, we review our safeguards regularly.

7. Your choices and rights

  • You can access, correct, or update your details by contacting us.
  • You can ask us to delete your account and personal data through our account deletion page or by email.
  • You can withdraw consent for marketing messages at any time.

8. Children

The Platform is intended for users aged 18 and above. Birth details of a minor may be entered by a parent or guardian, who is responsible for that information.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date shown at the top.

10. Grievance officer and contact

For any question, complaint, or request about your personal information, contact our Grievance Officer. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within 30 days.
